a hospice chaplain. He has served missions locally and abroad including in New Orleans, Ukraine, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and East Asia. He lives outside of Water Valley with his wife, Courtney and their four boys.

Bro Jeff Myers
Jeff attended Central as a youth with his family which included grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins (one of which you will still find in the pews today). He obtained a bachelors in Music from Ole Miss and a masters degree in Florida. In the past, he has served as youth minister and music director at Central and still teaches when needed. He feels blessed to serve by playing the piano here at Central.

Angela Myers
Angela was baptized at Central in 1984 where she later taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She and her husband, Jeff, met here and were married in 1992. After living in Northeast Mississippi, they moved back to Grenada and rejoined Central in 2022. She has a bachelors in Graphic Design from Delta State University. Angela presently serves here as church clerk and as a children's ministry teacher.

Mae Ellen has attended Central all of her life and, over the course of her long history with the church, has served as secretary, library assistant, pianist, organist, choir member, and now treasurer. Each Sunday, she fills the walls of Central Baptist Church with the sound of the organ that is a beloved part of our musical worship.

Melissa May
Melissa grew up in Grenada and attended Central Baptist Church most of her life. Upon marrying, she moved to Baton Rouge, LA to raise her family. After many years away, she and two of her grown daughters moved back to Grenada and joined her home church. Melissa's love for others and servant's heart have equipped her for serving in the Children's Ministry as well as other church ministries that give back to the church and community.

Courtney joined Central Baptist Church in early 2026 with her husband Bro. Craig Warren and her four sons. Her enthusiasm for children and love of the Lord is always on display. She has vast experience in education through homeschooling her own four sons as well as teaching assorted classes at the homeschooling Co-Op in Oxford, MS.
